Also known as black noble truffle, with a very intense scent. It is harvested throughout the winter, especially the first months of the year, under an oak, hazel and black hornbeam tree. It is used in various culinary combinations, and is ideal grated on pasta, fresh hot toast with a combination of olive oil. This truffle is the most prized among the black species.
